Drayton Florence Sr. is a former American football cornerback who played for 11 seasons in the NFL from 2003 to 2013. He was drafted in the second round (46th overall pick) of the 2003 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and went on to play for several teams throughout his career including the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, and Carolina Panthers.

Florence attended Tuskegee University where he played college football for the Tuskegee Golden Tigers. He was a four-year starter and a three-time First-team All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection. In his senior year, Florence led the team with six interceptions.

Throughout his NFL career, Florence recorded 20 interceptions, 109 pass deflections, 464 tackles, and 3 sacks. He played in 155 regular-season games and appeared in nine playoff games.

Florence is also an active philanthropist and has worked with various charitable organizations including Coaches Curing Kids Cancer, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
